Beautiful day for fly-in!

Today I'm headed out to airport for our EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) chapters fall Chili Cookoff Fly-in. This is a big deal for our chapter. Every year our members cook up their best home-made chili recipe and share their wares.Over the years the word has really gotten out. We have airplanes of all sorts fly in from all over Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma to sample our chili and fixins'. And it's not just airplanes. We usually have some motorcycle clubs wheeling in as well.
Our average attendance at the cook-off is over 200 people. We have big-band music playing in the back ground inside a monster hangar. The only thing that is missing is B-17 in our midst. It really has that old hangar dance from the 40's feel.
If you're ever in North Texas in October, look us up at EAA1246.org. You won't regret it. Sometimes indigestion can be fun!
