RV-9A: Horizontal Stabilizer - 10/14/2005

 Finished all of the riveting on the Horizontal Stabilizer
Riveting the 3/32 rivets into the back spar with the Avery Hand Squeezer was a real breeze (and pleasure) once I got the gap just right. All I have left now is to attach HS-911 Inboard Hinge Brackets and VA-146 bearing to the rear spar.

 Clecoed the HS-911 Inboard Hinge Brackets and VA-146 bearing together
Now I will drill out the holes and rivet everything together.

Once again I have to say that I just LUV that Avery pneumatic rivet squeezer. Each one of these rivets came out perfect.

 And thar' she is!!! Plum georgous! (no brag just fact)
I can't wait to get started on the Vertical Stabilizer.
