 Primed the Rear Spar Components
I used Sherwin Williams self-etching primer to prime the parts.

 Taped over the holes that won't get riveted for now
The drawing is very crowded with a LOT of information. It's a real head scratcher to figure what NOT to do.

 Taped over the holes on the center reinforcement plate
Same problem here, the drawing is small and hard to figure out what to do (or not to do). I sure as hell don't want to have to drill out rivets. I feel fairly confident that I have chosen the right holes to rivet for now.

 Ditto on taping the holes on the end reinforcement plate
I almost missed countersinking the last 3 holes in this plate. Gotta' read them there plans. I've noticed already that the written instructions don't hold your hand as much. The drill now is to read the written instructions and then look for the "fine print" on the plans, before doing anything. Buy the way, I did tape over the countersunk holes after this picture was taken, just to make sure I didn't put a rivet into them.
