Primed all the parts for the Center SectionPrimed all the parts for the Center Section
I bought a canvas drop cloth last week when I repainted my kiddos bedroom. It makes a great backing for priming this many parts. I primed the skin only where it meets the ribs and primed all of the surfaces of the ribs. I know that I only needed to prime the edges of the ribs, but I like doing the whole rib. It's tough leaning over to spray this much primer, since it takes so long. Tomorrow I will probably be a little sore.

It's a good thing I numbered all of these parts before taking this dude apart. It makes things a lot easier to reassemble. There's one thing that bugs me though. The instruction book is in sequential order. Do this, now do this. However the drawings have additional information of things that need to done that aren't in the book. So I'm constantly asking myself if something shown in the drawings needs to be done now. There have many times when I didn't do something because it wasn't mentioned in the instruction book, but shown in the drawings, and vice versa. It really bugs when I do something shown in the drawings and find out later that I should have waited.
