Here's the tire mounted with the cotter key installed One thing I learned about the axle drilling process was to not hit the center punch too many times when marking the axle for the cotter key hole. It will bend the axle screw grooves, making it difficult to unscrew the VA-106 wheel nut.

Now for the brakes I installed the 90 degree brake fitting with the a little EZ Lubricant, just to insure a good (non-leaking) fit.

Dismantled the brakes The brake shoe with the large holes will stay on the brake cylinder when being mounted on the axle. The other brake show will to on the tire rim, completing the whole brake mechanism.

Now to put the brake assembly together on the wheel I put the brake shoe with the large holes on the main brake cylinder.

Inserted the main brake mechanism One brake shoe on one side the tire rim brake flange, and one on the other (not shown here).

Now for my favorite thing (not) Here''s a drawing I found on the internet, showing how to safety 2 bolts together, to prevent the bolts from unscrewing.

Not bad Especially after doing it over and over again 3 times and questioning the motherhood of the safety wire.

Now for the final touch, the brake line I got all the brake lines from Bonaco, custom made for my RV. Me likey!
