Final drilled the #40 holes on the E-615PP reinforcing bracketFinal drilled the #40 holes on the E-615PP reinforcing bracket
Here I clecoed on the E-615PP reinforcing bracket in every other hole and then marked the open holes with a sharpie. After drilling the marked holes and moved the the clecos and finished final drilling the unmarked holes.

These dudes are ready for priming. I think that aircraft building and meditation are a lot alike. You can't really be thinking about anything else while you're doing it.

The instructions don't mention anything about dimpling the holes where the nut plates attach, but I don't see how you can not do it. I plan to countersink the two ends of each nutplate to conform to the dimples in the bracket. Also the plans call for #6 dimples in the bracket for the screws that hold the inspection plate on, so I ordered a set of #6 dimple dies from Averys ($48 bucks - ouch!). You can't beat Averys shipping. I got these puppies in the mail the next day.
