Finished dimpling the ribsFinished dimpling the ribs
I used my Avery hand squeezer and went at it. Dimple, dimple, dimple. When I finish, I always make it a habit to go back and run my finger over every hole to make sure I didn't forget any. Sure enough, I skipped over one hole.

Now it's time to countersink all the holes in main spar where the skin rivets to it. This particular rivet hole is under the tank skin and there isn't a hole in the tank skin that will goes into this spar rivet hole, but the rib that is behind the spar has a matching hole. I assume that this hole will be countersunk and a rivet put into it, holding the rib to the spar, under the tank skin. The plans and drawings do not mention what to do with this hole (that I can see). UPDATE 9/29/2006: Mystery Rivet solved!
