Here's where I get a little confused. The instructions say to "Debur the structure and skins, dimple as required, and cleco the rear fuselage back together". Then it says to rivet the F-712 and F-711 bulkheads to the F-779 bottom skin. To me this means to cleco the whole thing together and then start riveting the rear bulkheads first, while the whole tailcone is clecoed together. This seemed to me to be pretty much impossible (or extremely difficult). I decided to take a chance and rivet the F-712 and F-711 bulkheads to the F-779 bottom skin as a separate assembly, and then cleco the whole tailcone together. Here I'm using my hand squeezer to put in the rivets on the F-712 bulkhead assembly into the F-779 bottom skin.
Not badNot bad
I used the old bucking bar and mushroom head on the rivet gun for the other side. So far, this is no big deal.

I started in the middle, using my bucking bar and rivet gun. Then finished off the side rivets with my hand squeezer.
This worked great too! This worked great too!
All the rivets went in easily on both these bulkheads. Now I hope the damn thing will cleco in to the rest of tailcone assembly.
Piece of cake!Piece of cake!
I started with the bottom skin, then the rear skin assembly, then the bulkheads, then the J-stringers and finally the side skins. Everything went together very easily. PHEW! It's riveting time!!
