Drilled the F-6115 & F-6116 Bearing BlocksDrilled the F-6115 & F-6116 Bearing Blocks
Drilling these blocks was a little tricky. The drill bit really binds to the blocks as you drill and they are hard to hold on to. They want to ride up the drill bit and come out of your hands. To prevent this, I drilled the holes a little at a time and pulled the bit in and out to get rid of the plastic shavings that were causing the binding to occur.

No biggy here. I just cut that dude in half using my band saw.

These blocks are near impossible to put on the rudder pedal tubes with just your bare hands. So I remembered how my Dad would used his rubber hammer to gently put kitchen cabinet parts together with his rubber hammer. Here I put the first Bearing Block on the floor and positioned the rudder pedal tubes over the holes. Then I gently tapped the end of the tubes into the block.

Same thing here. I flipped the rudder pedal tubes over and gently tapped the other block on to the other end of the tubes.

Looks really cool. Now I have to figure out how to transfer the Bearing Block holes onto the side angles.
